Specialist talent / Healthcare
Technology that supports
better care.
Plan your next healthcare engagement around technical skills, responsible data handling, and the realities of your environment.

Start with the workflow. Understand the responsibility.
From health data analysis to medical technology support, tell ACERS-ED what your team needs to accomplish and how the role interacts with clinical systems. We can discuss candidate matching based on your technical requirements, setting, and available talent.

Make HIPAA part of the hiring brief.
The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) includes privacy and security requirements for covered entities and business associates. The Security Rule addresses safeguards for electronic protected health information (ePHI).
Where a role involves protected health information, define the privacy responsibilities, access permissions, training, and supervision it requires before work begins. Compliance depends on the organization, systems, policies, and individual engagement; a placement alone does not establish HIPAA compliance.
Details to discuss with your team
- The health data, systems, and workflows involved in the role
- Required HIPAA training and confidentiality commitments
- Role-based access, approved devices, and secure working arrangements
- Relevant onboarding, documentation, and incident-reporting procedures
- Any business associate agreement or other contractual requirements identified by your advisers
Roles and project needs
Share requirements for health data analysis, reporting, software integration, or medical technology support. Include the tools your team uses, relevant experience or credentials, work location, and expected schedule.
Candidate experience, training, and any specific qualifications must be confirmed for the engagement. ACERS-ED does not offer a blanket HIPAA certification or a guarantee of regulatory compliance.
