We offer several ways to contract workers through ACERS:

    -Full-time, fixed term or open-ended. This is important if the worker must relocate

                    Example: You need someone for the next six months during a software upgrade cycle

     -Part-time, fixed hours per week or month (Generally remote)

                    Example: You need someone once a month to transform data for analytics purposes

                    If we can find more than one part-time engagement, the worker can be shared with other organizations 

     -Temporary/part-time with fixed or flexible terms or remote options

     -Contract-to-hire. An F1 contracted worker can be retained directly if your organization desires (Contractor buy-out fee)  

 

How we help your organization:

    -We help you with the small amount of paperwork you need. The university the student attends takes care of government required filing of information

    -We screen all of our contract F1 VISA students through a background check

    -We pre-screen potential team members based on your job requirements and responsibilities. We will provide a list of potential candidates and help setup

         appointments for any interviews

    -All contracted team members working for your organization and monitoring (both work and school), provided on-going training, and are coached as needed

    -If a team member is not working out, you contact us and we will find a replacement

    -ACERS handles payroll to the team member(s), including taxes and benefits. You pay use a contracted hourly rate. Your organization approves timecards

   

Notes:

    -We can accommodate part-time or short term when an F1 worker is in the area of the job

    -All contracted hourly billed rates are negotiated in advance of engagements

    -Terms for payment to ACERS for hours worked must be made on-time, based on the negotiated contract
